PlasticLine for Plastic Level Measurement for Acids
The PlasticLine proves: It doesn't always have to be stainless steel! Modern plastics are an innovative alternative to expensive nickel steels for acid level indication. With PVC, polypropylene (PP) or PVDF, many measurement tasks in low-pressure and low-temperature ranges can be handled safely and cost-effectively.

Cost-Effective Alternative to High-Alloy Steels
Aggressive acids often require expensive, high-alloy nickel steels whose procurement and processing is complex and costly. These acid level indicators made from plastic offer a much more affordable alternative without compromising resistance.
A proven example is battery acid: Instead of high-alloy nickel steel, a PP magnetic level indicator suffices – not without reason, all car battery housings are made from plastic. A variety of float types in PVC, PP or PVDF are available for diverse parameters.
Important Note: Not suitable for explosive atmospheres (ATEX/IECEx) due to possible static charging.
