Strategic portfolio optimization: WEKA discontinues TLI IndustryLine…

In our series: Product lines in focus, we alternately present the most important features and characteristics of our product lines from our business units.
In the area of valves and cryogenic components, today's topic is "warm check valves". Our ClpdV type check valves are typically used for gases such as He, Ne, H2, N2 or AR, in gas recirculation systems and for liquefying gases.
Warm check valves prevent the backflow of evaporated cooling fluid into the process.
A spring presses the sealing head onto the seat seal in the depressurized state. As soon as a low pressure builds up at the inlet of the check valve due to the gas, the spring force is overcome and the sealing head lifts off the seal. The gas flows through the check valve, e.g. into a collecting vessel. If the pressure is present at the outlet of the check valve, it additionally supports the spring force and presses the sealing head onto the seat seal, preventing the gas from flowing back into the process
Due to the very low opening pressure, recovery of the gas is possible at the smallest pressure differences.
Transport protection and protective caps for delivery. Otherwise, no further accessories are required.
The advantages of the product include its durability, which is designed to last for decades, and the low maintenance required. There are practically no wear parts - yet seals can be reordered.
