WEKA's In-house Testing Mastery: Setting the Bar for Valve Quality!

Upon receiving the KGS factory approval (see "WEKA receives approval for Korea"), WEKA scored additional orders slated for delivery to South Korea.

Despite securing this factory approval, our valves, categorized as "emergency cut-off devices" (ECD), must pass a specialized FAT "factory acceptance test." During this FAT, overseen by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS), diverse assessments take place, including leak and cold cycle tests. These tests involve subjecting the valve to liquid nitrogen (LN2) at -196 °C (77 K) and varying shut-off pressures.

Delivering Precision and Reliability from Assembly to Assessment

At WEKA, we're equipped with the infrastructure and expertise to conduct these tests internally right after valve assembly. Thanks to continuous enhancements to our testing setup, our cold cycle tests are becoming increasingly efficient.

For any inquiries about our valves, our experts Leon Trajber and Miralem Okanovic are on standby to provide assistance. Don't hesitate and reach out to us!
