The spread of the coronavirus is affecting the lives of people around the world and poses major challenges for all of us. Based on the current developments regarding the coronavirus, we would like to give you an update on the current situation at WEKA AG.

In view of the various restrictions and obligations in Switzerland, in Europe but also beyond the European borders, the business activities of WEKA AG are influenced. However, we are doing everything in our power to continue to provide you with the best possible service. Nevertheless, the following limitations are currently to be expected:

1. Due to some organisational measures, telephone availability may be partially limited. If you do not know the contact person responsible for your request, please write to dispatching@weka-ag.ch and your approach will be taken care of.

2. Some of our sub-suppliers have reported delays for certain deliveries. In addition, a general limitation of availability on the procurement market is foreseeable. WEKA AG will actively inform customers of potentially affected deliveries. While we do everything in our power to deliver orders punctually, delivery times for certain products may be affected. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the offered delivery times in all cases. The restrictions and measures taken at federal and state level regarding the coronavirus may also affect your business. In order to avoid delivery bottlenecks, we recommend our customers to place orders early enough.

3. The freight transport is largely excluded from the border closures at the moment. In general, however, longer transport and transit times are to be expected.

Our highest priority is to protect our employees and continue to provide excellent service to our customers. We are confident that WEKA AG will manage this challenge in the best possible way, and we will continue to proactively keep you informed about the situation at WEKA AG.
