Strategic portfolio optimization: WEKA discontinues TLI IndustryLine…
The 28th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference (FEC 2020) takes place from May 10th to 15th 2021 and serves as platform for discussions on key physics and technology issues as well as innovative concepts with direct relevance to nuclear fusion as a new energy source. As part of the virtual exhibition, WEKA AG cordially invites you to meet at any time during the week.
As WEKA AG we will present our company, our products and services around the fusion energy market. We underline our competence by providing specific information about our developments in this market. You are cordially invited to meet us virtually at our interactive booth. Video conferencing will give you the opportunity to get in touch with our specialists and receive individual first-hand information and explanations.
The conference aims to bring together senior scientific fusion project leaders; plasma physicists including theoreticians and experimentalists; experts in the various multidisciplinary fields of fusion science and technology; materials engineers; and operators of fusion devices.
The overall conference program will consist of an opening session, selected overview sessions, technical sessions with invited and contributed papers, summary sessions, daily poster sessions and a closing session. Furthermore, a virtual exhibition will be held throughout the week, allowing direct contact with relevant industry players. The preliminary program can be viewed HERE.
With a number of next-step fusion devices currently being implemented — such as ITER (‘International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor’) in Cadarache, France, and the Wendelstein 7-X stellarator in Greifswald, Germany — and in view of the concomitant need to demonstrate the technological feasibility of fusion power plants, as well as the economic viability of this method of energy production, the fusion community is now facing new challenges. The way these challenges are addressed will determine the direction of research in the present and coming decades.
We look forward to a lively exchange with you at our virtual and interactive booth!
