In-Tank Level Instruments (TLI) for Continuous Level Measurement
In-Tank Level Instruments are the optimal complement to WEKA magnetic level indicators wherever external mounting is not possible. These TLI level sensors work completely electronically and deliver – except for the float without moving parts – reliable level values for remote indication and control system integration.
Proven Float Technology with Electronic Signal Transmission
The voltage divider principle of XM types delivers output voltages between zero and supply voltage analogous to float position. XT designs feature an integrated converter that converts the voltage signal into a 4…20mA signal (current sink). Reed contacts and resistors in a hermetically pressure-tight circuit board are activated by float magnets.
Unique Interface Measurement
As the only measuring principle, WEKA TLI detect interfaces of two immiscible media with density difference from 0.1 g/cm³ in practically all tank sizes and shapes.
Direct Measurement
Independent of temperature and air pressure fluctuations and without extrapolated values from indirect measurements like pressure or echo. Safe even in tanks with curved walls or restricted vertical accessibility.
